My Story

Willem Kok is a South African entrepreneur who built his life from the ground up — starting with nothing but grit, broken machines, and the determination to never go hungry again.

He grew up in a small town called Curren. His father was a Sasol employee, and his mother worked for welfare. Life was far from easy. Willem remembers being bullied in school because his father couldn’t afford the school fees. He can still picture his mother locking herself in the bathroom and crying quietly for hours, knowing there was no food in the house.

Willem wanted to start a garden service business but didn’t have the money for a lawnmower. So he went to auctions, bought broken machines, fixed them, and sold them at a profit.

He also used the income to support his household, buying meat from the local butchery and trying to relieve the burden on his mom.

Despite family tension and setbacks, Willem went on to work as a plumber overseas and eventually entered the mining industry. After starting Nixwill Mining in Zimbabwe and returning to South Africa, he was introduced to the fuel industry and began building companies during load shedding. Out of betrayal and hardship, Triple D Diesel was born.

Today, he owns multiple businesses and supports a fleet of over 115 vehicles and operations across South Africa. Willem’s mission is to offer honest, clean diesel and to give back to others who are struggling like he once did.
